Researcher Information Services (RISe) is UBC’s secure online platform for managing research administration.
All UBC researchers and administrators are required to use RISe to submit applications and track them through to approval, certification or awarding of funds. Login to RISe from the link at right.
RISe is composed of several modules that provide a transparent process to enable specific administrative tasks:
- The Research Compliance Modules allow researchers to submit Animal, Human and Biosafety research protocols;
- The Conflict of Interest Module allows faculty members to submit UBC Conflict of Interest/Conflict of Commitment Declarations;
- The Grants Administration Module is available for UBC Research Awards Officers as an internal grants administration tool; and
- The Extended Reporting Module provides data about the broader UBC research community.
A collaborative online tool, RISe allows researchers to interact with their research teams, administrators, and reviewers. The system also sends automatic notifications and reminders to registered individuals regarding the status of their project or application.
Training on RISe is recommended for all staff and faculty members involved in research administration. Please contact us today to request a training session.
